Microsoft Groove has two possible uses. One is that of a music player for the files that the user has stored into OneDrive, and they are ready all the time, not just when the device is connected to the internet. You only have to download the music files from OneDrive and Microsoft Groove will do the rest.
The second part of the application is the access to the digital music streaming service that offers music from thousands or artist, with a monthly fee of course. It works pretty much as you would expect. Just search for the song or artist and hit play. It’s that easy.
An Internet radio option is also integrated, but it requires a subscription as well.
