Glympse

The app doesn’t require sign up or access to your contacts lists in order to work. It displays your location on a map and allows you to pick from multiple map types, including street, satellite, terrain or add a traffic overlay. You can select recipients and share your location with multiple people, add message and pick a destination on the map. The app runs in the background and you can set a limit for how many minutes your location will be shared.
 
In addition, recipients can view your location without having to install the app and you can set a favorite location to send easier. The app keeps a history of your locations and it comes with a built-in calendar feature that shows upcoming events.
