Navigating our society can be difficult even for someone who can typically see, and it’s much more difficult for someone who’s visually impaired or completely blind. The Envision app aims to alleviate some of these problems.
With the help of Envision, users just need to point the camera at something, albeit text or the world and get some relevant information from an AI that interprets the images. Furthermore, when text is detected, it can be read back through Android’s TalkBack.
The application can also describe a scene or a context, and the information is provided in the user’s language.
