Most lock screens suspend the apps that are opened beneath them, but some users might not want that to happen. This is where Blackr comes into play. Its main feature is that it simulates a lock screen and it leaves the app that’s running below untouched.
It’s possible to run Blackr from a notification a floating icon, quick tiles, or even from a widget. As you can expect, the floating icon features support for color tinting, transparency and size, which are all nice features to have.
Also, a customizable clock can be displayed while the screen is black, and users can also see the date and the time, along with the remaining battery percentage.
Other features include and auto wake up screen, no ads, and a double tap protection to avoid accidental unlocks.
