Most of the benchmarking software is usually built to test other aspects Android devices, like the processing power for example, but Androbench is going the other way. This is an application designed specifically for testing the storage, and it does that in a couple of ways.
The Micro benchmark can be used use to quickly compare the storage on your phone with specs from other devices, which is actually a really nice feature to have. On the other hand, the SQLite benchmark test the performance of insert, update, and delete queries on a database table that’s really similar with the one being used by messaging apps.
For the best result, you will have to close all of the applications that are running in the background.
